Vermont – a land of bed & breakfast, amber maple syrup, hearty beer, fine cheese, and plucky skiing. Burlington in particular offers the majority of these experiences as well as plenty to feast your eyes upon such as Lake Champlain and Church Street.
Within Burlington, Park Street and Battery Street are extraordinary places to live. The best units provide exceptional views of Lake Champlain. Navy blue, sky blue, and violet, the Adirondack Mountains across the lake are astonishing to behold.
In the winter, the lake freezes and you can walk safely across the surface while watching others play hockey. The sparkling ice looks magnificent, especially after sunset.
Of course, living on Park Street or Battery Street provides you with an opportunity that very few will receive. You have full access to try and spot the lake monster Champ, which is similar to the Loch Ness monster. Of course, biologically speaking, the potential existence of these creatures collapses immediately, but don’t even get me started on that.
If you walk east for five minutes from these locations, Church Street, a most enchanting destination for travelers, reveals itself. Along Church Street, Lake Champlain Chocolates houses the most lovely and friendly staff to assist you in selecting a treat. The variety of chocolate truffles and cups ought to make you feel like a first-year student looking at Hogwarts for the first time. If you prefer a sizable, rich piece of fudge, there’s a wild assortment to select from. You’ll also find top quality artwork, clothing retailers, and restaurants nearby. For example, Victoria’s Secret and Banana Republic stores are located on Church Street.
