I tend to find that my glasses represent an extension of my mentality. While at work, I refuse to part ways with my relatively thick square black glasses. If I have free time, I find my lightweight dark blue pair far more comfortable. With these observations in mind, I wanted to understand the trends in terms of the most popular women’s glasses for 2018.
In my experience, people tend to either love or scoff at this style. With that said, if you can pull off the tortoise shell glasses, more power to you!
I have to say that this style offers a multitude of dimensions. That is, cat eye glasses tend to catch the eye and offer a bit of edginess. They also have a sharp quality both literally and figuratively speaking.
Blue, Red, or Pink
For those not quite ready to go full hipster yet, glasses with a blue, red, or pink color offer an admirable alternative to standard black. Often times, one of these colors transitions halfway down the rims into one of the other three colors. Depending on your preferences, these kinds of glasses can provide a sense of individuality.
This style might be my personal favorite. I love how they have the ability to capture sunlight and create a sparkling effect. Most impressively, they have that sturdier modern quality without any overbearing designs.
